Hotel Kaiserhof Kitzbühel

A private villa

The Kaiserhof Kitzbühel has always been a place where the “fine feeling” has always taken centre stage – in imperial style and sophistication, of course.

This was already the case when the house was built at the turn of the last century – back then as a private villa.

Pension Montana - small and fine

Due to its ideal location, the villa was soon converted into a small guesthouse called “Montana”.

In 1979, the Richard family took over the property and converted it into a 4-star hotel two years later.
In 2000, Andrea Hofer – the daughter of Ludwig and Elisabeth Richard – took over the hotel.

The birth of the imperial court

Five years later, the Montana was taken over by his son Christian Hofer in 2005 and completely renovated.

With the “new look”, the hotel was also given a new name: Kaiserhof Kitzbühel.

Fine further development

With the takeover by Christian Hofer, the Kaiserhof was expanded from 37 to 51 rooms and suites in 2005.

Following the purchase of the neighbouring property, another 22 rooms were added in 2012.
Our Kaiserhof has been continuously developed over the years and stands for the “fine holiday feeling” in Kitzbühel.
